This review is not regarding the salesperson, who was wonderful, but it is in regards to the financing part of the process as it is now June 18 and I purchased a vehicle on May 3 and have been getting denial letters from Hyundai finance to the amount of 18 letters telling me I was declined. I called both the finance company and the dealership to speak to the manager on May 28 and was told that those letters are normal and to ignore then since my load was fully funded. Oil change car service is terrible, they dirty the steering wheel, they dirty the car mats, they didn't add any windshield washer fluid, the service office is a mess with documents, there is no information updated on the computers, no one knows anything, the employees refer customers to other employees. There is broken glass on the service square between parked cars, no one cares. My question is, why is an appointment made if you have to wait 4 hours to change the oil? Outstanding customer service! Jim was amazing when I needed help with a car purchase but couldn't leave work. He brought the car to me. Later he brought me the paperwork and handled the entire process. The service center is professional, warm and friendly. All my questions were answered and service taken care of during my appointment.

I picked up a piece of steel through the sidewall of one tire on the last day of our vacation in Daytona Beach. I came to this dealership on Saturday morning without an appointment as this was kind of an emergency. Not only did they work me into their schedule, they also did my 7500 mile service plus a recall at the same time they replaced my tire. They really bailed me out as I had to head home the next day.




Debbie took excellent care of my Veloster N. Owning a sports car can be stressful because I'm always concerned that the technicians might take it for joyrides. However, Debbie was diligent in ensuring that it didn't happen. She also made amends for my previous negative experience at the service department, where my car was at the dealership for a week without any work being done. I called many times for a service appt.,and all I got was a voice mail. I called back numerous times before someone got on the phone. They finally offered me an appt. 3 1/2 weeks out . All I needed was the 15,000 mile oil change. I will not do business with them. I will use another dealership.

I purchased a vehicle from Daytona Hyundai in February 2025.
I paid a $2,000 down payment and was told financing had been finalized.
After taking delivery, I later discovered that financing had NOT been completed as promised.
Despite having registered the vehicle in my name through the Florida DMV, Daytona Hyundai failed to notify me that financing had fallen through.
Even worse, 60 days after the purchase, they authorized a second hard credit inquiry without my knowledge or consent, damaging my credit.

This was a very pleasant car maintenance experience. The friendly staff lady that greeted me and helped me spot a bubble on my car tire was not only sweet, but very attentive to my car needs. Also, she was really kind when it came to telling me about a few more issues in my car. I completely forgot her name, but she was short-ish, blonde. I am sorry if you are reading this.

I brought my vehicle in for a recall and some small issues, on Thursday, 03/13. I have since been unable to reach the service representative, Carson, despite leaving multiple voicemails. This lack of communication is unacceptable.
